    Pros +

    • Great service, location and cleanliness.
    • Location, staff
    • Clean and updated with a great location. Family room with bunk beds were great.

    Cons -

    • Hallways a bit dark
    • A bit expensive but the location makes it worth while
    • It was hard to find a pillow that was just right, but I think that’s more a “me” issue (I’m very picky haha!). I appreciated that there were different kinds of pillows to pick from. My first night, they were out, but my second night I was able to snag one that worked better for me.

Great location, train station very close. Shopping and eating locations steps away.

A bit expensive but the location makes it worth while

Location, amenities, comfortable bed, excellent service. I was going to forward my luggage to my next lodging and the front desk was incredibly helpful in make this happen (I ultimately decided not to and they were very understanding)

Super friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Great location.

A little more natural light in the room would be perfect

The location was excellent, just a few short blocks from the Kamakura JR Station, on a street lined with numerous interesting and inviting shops, including cafes, eateries, pastry shops as well as high end clothing and some gift stores. It was also a pleasant and longer walk from the hotel to the waterfront and beach area.

Wonderful location with nice facilities for a small hotel. The breakfast was very good and added a lot of value.

The sento area was a bit cramped and not very clean by the end of the day, other than that everything was very good.

    10SaraPosted on: 11-20-2025

Beautiful Japanese design, and I really liked the public bath and the Japanese style breakfast.

    9IgorPosted on: 11-19-2025

Close to the station. Very comfortable. Even japanese bath is included. The common expression is very good. The only size of the rooms is relatively small.

Loved the location on a fun pedestrian street with great shops, but still close to the train. And the Free onsen was nice.

The beds were terribly hard. And needed more pillows

    10RoxanePosted on: 11-1-2025

Really nice Onsen and free miso soup and rice ball, which was delicious.

Beds were a bit hard for my liking.

    7AlexaPosted on: 10-25-2025

Pretty on the outside. Our room was quite small though. Free coffee. Didn’t have time to try the onsen.

Tiny room. Staff were polite but formal. They sent us to a terrible restaurant that served me meat even though I’m a pescatarian . Street in lively during the day but dead at night.

Lovely hotel and by far my favourite of our trip Wonderful staff Within walking distance to the train station. Close enough to many attractions, restaurants, cute shops and cafes. Wouldn't hesitat to stay here again on my next trip to the beautiful Kamakura!

    Loved everything about this hotel!

    9EricksonPosted on: 10-9-2025

Centrally located about 3 minute walk from the train station. They offer an onsen for your use. We only stayed for one night, but the hotel staff were great about us leaving our luggage there for a few hours storage the following day while we did our sightseeing. Free coffee machine customers use in the lobby. 2-piece pajamas.

    Nothing comes to mind.

    7KimPosted on: 10-9-2025

    Great location

A little tight on space, a bit musty smelling.

    9ReginaPosted on: 10-6-2025

Great location and very helpful staff.

    Bathroom was small but clean.

    8DarcyPosted on: 10-1-2025

Location is excellent. Quiet and serene once inside. Good amenities, including extra pillows, coffee station, manga to borrow, etc. Plus easy to use coin laundry which was very convenient. In general they have everything you are looking for in a hotel of this nature. Did not use Onsen but seemed like it was popular with locals.

Some staff were a bit rude (might just be cultural or language barrier), or didn’t share information that would have been nice to know. Such as that breakfast needed to be confirmed at time of check in or else it wouldn’t be available morning of.

    9SakiPosted on: 9-30-2025

The hotel was very close to Kamakura station and the staff are very nice and friendly. Very japanese vibe, the public bath is okay where you can relax after a long stroll in Kamakura area as you end your day.

    9SakiPosted on: 9-30-2025

The staff are very friendly and nice. Very close to Kamakura Station and accessible to the Temple & within Komachi St.
